She has produced exhibitions, web-based artworks, video installations, and publications. Through an exploration of various narrative forms, her work examines how places are constructed and transformed through the stories they hold, the uses that shape them, and the communities that inhabit them. Themes such of identity and belonging, history and memory, and abandonment and transformation run through her projects.<\/p>\n<p>Her research-creation practice is grounded in an interdisciplinary, contextual, and collaborative approach. Often developed during residencies, her projects take shape through fieldwork, shared walks, and encounters with local communities. The resulting narratives reveal the layers of memory, tensions, and imaginaries of the territories explored, a process that unfolds somewhere between documentation and poetry, aesthetics and critical engagement.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Of Catalan background, Eva Quintas lives and works in Montreal (Quebec, Canada). Her work has been presented in Canada and various countries in Europe and the Americas, Japan and West Africa, in exhibitions, events, media art festivals and digital platforms. Her recent projects have been developed through institutional residencies: PHI, Montreal (2025); Les R\u00e9collets, Paris (2015); Lumi\u00e8re d&#8217;encre, C\u00e9ret (2024); and El B\u00f2lit, Girona (2023).
